Thad D. Ackel, Jr.

Thad D. Ackel, Jr. is the lead counsel at Ackel & Associates. His primary areas of legal concentration include Louisiana property law, commercial real estate transactions, asset protection, estate planning, business structure organizations and civil litigation.  Ackel is also an advocate for private property rights and economic and civil liberty; he enjoys monitoring and educating the public about legislative activities.  Along with his legal practice, Ackel owns and serves as broker for Tribute Real Estate, a Louisiana real estate brokerage and management company that represents properties throughout the state.  He also serves as President of The Foundation for Economic and Civil Liberty, a non-profit organization headquartered in Louisiana.  Ackel received a Bachelors of Science in Management (BSM) from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, and completed his Juris Doctorate (JD) from Loyola University’s College of Law in New Orleans, LA.
